The programs for development of production lines and factories are always designed by the deputy office of engineering and development in Safa Industrial Group based on the reports of subsidiary factories and under direct supervision of the group management.

Development projects of Safa Rolling & Pipe Mills factories are under construction within a piece of land out of which 250,000 m² form a roofed area. The situation of these projects are as follows:

• Heavy and light milling production lines
• Heavy and light milling factories include the following lines:
• Steel production line: Production of billet with a capacity of 1 million tons per year
• Light sections production factory: Production of light steel sections with a capacity of 750,000 tons per year
• Rod wire production factory: Production of steel wires with a capacity of 500,000 tons per year
• Wire production factory: Production of steel wires with a capacity of 250,000 tons per year

• It is estimated that the light hot rolling project will be put into operation in early 2021 providing job opportunity for 500 persons.
• It is estimated that the heavy hot rolling project will be put into operation in early 2021 providing job opportunity for 1,000 persons.
• Infrastructural facilities of development projects of Safa Rolling & Pipe Mills Factories
• The second high-voltage substation with a power of 20.63 kV and a consumption power of 60 MW
Water treatment plant with a capacity of 72 m3/h including types of water required by the factories
• Gas pressure reduction station with a capacity of 20,000 m3/h and over 600 m pipeline for consumption of factories
• Railway network in a station measuring 95 Ha beside the nationwide railway, design of domestic railways for transfer of raw materials and produced goods
Establishment of telephone lines including 100 international lines with 4,000 local sublines in the form of optical fiber, establishment of LAN and WAN network throughout all factories measuring 500 Ha.
All infrastructural facilities have been completed. Facilities for collection of industrial sewage are included based on the highest criteria of international standard.
