Safa Rolling & Pipe Mills Company was established in the aforesaid date following the increasing demand of the nation in large size pipes. The first phase of this project was registered comprising four equipped pipe producing factories with a capacity of 1.67 million tons per year with pipes ranging 8-120” in size to be used in oil, gas, petrochemical, water and wastewater, industrial and building industries, capable of producing polyethylene external coating and epoxy internal coating.

After conducting local studies in three parts of the nation (Ghazvin, Khuzestan Province and Saveh), Saveh City was selected as the best place due to its centrality in the nation which is regarded as a main highway.

After studying the land and testing the soil in the 9^th Km of Saveh-Tehran road, next to the northside of the highway near the railway which is connected to the nationwide railway, 500 acres of land was allocated to construction of this national project and the corresponding establishment permit was issued by the organization of industries of Markazi Province.

Construction operations of two factories (Spiral and Roll Bending ERW) started simultaneously.

In October 2002, the first spiral production factory with a capacity of 75,000 tons of intercity water transmission pipelines was put into operation. In that year, Safa Rolling & Pipe Mills Company was awarded a letter of commendation on the Industry and Mine Day for its valuable goals in industry to achieve sustainable development of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In July 2003, Roll Bending Factory (ERW) was put into operation with a capacity of 675,000 tons per year for oil, gas and petrochemical pipes. At the same time, construction operations of the third and fourth factories started.

Start of construction operations of a 63.20 substation producing 20 MW electricity required for pipe manufacturing, a call center with 90 international lines and 600 local lines, a treatment factory with a water treatment capacity of 36 m3/h and a gas station with a capacity of 20,000 m3/h. Polyethylene coating factory with a capacity of 850 m²/h for pipes of 6-100” in size was put into operation. Construction operations of girder and rail rolling factory with a capacity of 1.8 million tons per year started. The company was awarded a commendation letter as the top investor by I.R. Iran Ministry of Industries and Mines.

Internal coating factory with a capacity of 850 m²/h for pipes of 8-100” in size was put into operation simultaneous to a substation, a treatment factory, a call center and a gas station.

Operation of the second spiral factory with a capacity of 225,000 tons per year for production of oil, gas, petrochemical and water pipes, ERW factory with a capacity of 600,000 tons per year for production of pipes of 8-24”, square boxes up to 500 * 500 in dimensions and rectangular boxes up to 400 * 600 in dimensions and up to 20 mm thick.

Having constructed a total superstructure of 297.877 m², the production capacity of the pipes required for oil, gas, petrochemical, water and wastewater industries, industrial and building boxes is 1.6 million tons per year. We hope to operate the rolling factories of sections such as girder, rebar and railway and to produce billet and bloom by establishment of steel manufacturing factory which is in the course of design.
